Our Services - General Overview
With a team of skilled and experienced professionals, The Book Group provides an exclusive six month book publishing process to debut and veteran authors that culminates in the publishing of high quality books for both the UK and U.S. reading markets. We believe that for today's author to compete with the major publishing houses, they must have access to a transatlantic book publishing infrastructure.
With our sister division based in Houston, Texas offering state-of-the-art publishing facilities across the United States; a unique aspect of working with us is that we automatically give all our British authors a U.S. and Canadian edition of their book, and U.S. print runs, warehousing and specialist accounting support, reaching traditional American and Canadian bookstores including Barnes & Nobles, Books-A-million, Chapters Indigo, and the Amazon, Inc. companies.
In the UK, your book will be printed, shipped and sold through all major UK retail and wholesale channels including leading booksellers such as Waterstones, WHSmith, Blackwell, Foyles, Amazon and a vast number of local and online stores like the Bookstore Depository and Play. With a simultaneous U.S. edition, we have completely removed the sales barriers of import/export to the North American reading markets and associated high costs of employing mainstream U.S. publishing and fulfilment houses to warehouse speculative inventory, and undertake transatlantic shipping costs;
