We believe that for today's author to compete with the major publishing houses, they must have access to a transatlantic and Asian-Pacific book publishing infrastructure.

With our sister division based in Houston, Texas offering state-of-the-art publishing facilities across the United States; and from April 2013, expanded offices, printing and distribution warehousing facilities in Melbourne, Australia; a unique aspect of working with Schiel & Denver is that we automatically give all our talented authors a U.S., Canadian and Australian edition of their book, with UK, U.S. and Australian print runs, warehousing and specialist accounting support, reaching traditional UK/EU, American, Canadian and Australian/New Zealand bookstores including, to name just a few, Barnes & Nobles, Books-A-million, Chapters Indigo, and the Amazon, Inc. companies.

In the EU, your book will be printed, shipped and sold through all major UK/EU retail and wholesale channels including leading booksellers such as Waterstones, WHSmith, Blackwell, Foyles, Amazon and a vast number of local and online stores like the Bookstore Depository and Play. With a simultaneous U.S. and Australian edition, Schiel & Denver has completely removed the sales barriers of import/export to the North American and Asia-Pacific reading markets and associated high costs of employing mainstream U.S. and Asian publishing and fulfilment houses to warehouse speculative inventory, and undertake transatlantic shipping costs;

• Representation at the London Book Fair, BookExpo America and the Frankfurt International Book Fair, and, for Children's and Young Adult titles, the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy; at each of these prestigious literary festivals your book will be displayed spine and cover 'face-out' on high traffic stands to a distinguished attending audience of thousands of major commercial publishers (and their bookscouts), librarians, booksellers and agents;
• Premiere scale book distribution on a returnable basis; traditional offset print runs with combined UK & U.S. warehousing logistics and accounting support; pro-active stock audit management; dedicated ONIX bibliographical feeds; with privileged access to our commercial accounts with all major UK and U.S. booksellers; including airport, gift, gourmet & toy retail outlets;
• Professional bookcover artwork and creative jacket design from expert graphic designers adhering to an inhouse workflow across state-of-the-art multimedia graphic design platforms; beautiful eighteen carat gold-stamped spine foiling on hardback editions;
• Conventional library distribution, pertaining to both public and U.S. library college bookstores with emphasis on the Ivy Leagues for prosperity; Harvard University, Yale University, the University of Columbia, Cornell college and Dartmouth College in New England;
• Christian bookstore availability on both sides of the Atlantic for christian and spiritual genres;
• An experienced marketing and publicity department with established contacts and an excellent track record of obtaining press, radio and national television coverage including America's Trinity Broadcasting Network; we also participate in co-op advertising and '3 for 2' in-store bookseller promotions with our distributors and wholesalers;
• Effective book industry trade cataloguing support executed from E4 compliant distributors; and an experienced sales force who in the U.S. cover East, West, Midwest and Southern regions, and in the home markets covering the whole of the UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia and Republic of Ireland; able to negotiate new EU regulations for bookselling; PubEasy support as standard;
• Full book review and press release marketing campaign to broadsheet newspapers, magazines, and broadcast outlets in your local area and nationally, taking into account specialty and internet media;
• Co-ordinating a professional booksigning in your local Waterstones, Blackwell, Foyles or independent bookstore with promotional materials support; full book launch capabilities and submission to respected literary award contests; ongoing support for ten years, including the effective selling of rights on your behalf, such as foreign translation, digest journal/magazine rights, radio dramatisation and documentary, bookclub, large print, braille and audio;
• Above industry-standard 25% royalties on the cover price of all editions sold with GBP, USD, AUD and CAD recommended retail prices; additional print runs to satisfy readership demand at Schiel & Denver's expense; and you retain all the primary and subsidiary book publishing rights through a non-exclusive agreement ensuring you remain in control of your book publishing career;
• Professional eBook editions in Microsoft Reader, Adobe PDF and Adobe Digital Editions, Palm Reader and MobiPocket Reader will be made available for download at many thousands of online eBook retailers; with the author given full DRM (digital rights management) control over how readers can interact with your book i.e. whether it can be printed, read aloud or set to 'read-only';
• To supplement the modern book supply chain to bookstores, we make available a digital state-of-the-art print on demand system through industry leader, Lightning Source UK, which all major publishers, fulfilment houses and distributors are now employing both in the general and academic/scholarly publishing sectors to ensure even long-tail sales are captured;
• Special access to the advanced Espresso Book Machine technology - making your book available at participating ski resorts, libraries and bookstore coffee shops such as Harvard Bookstore, University of Michigan, University of Arizona, University of Pittsburgh and University of Missouri, Dymocks chain in Australia, Blackwell's flagship Charing Cross London bookstore and prestigious Canadian institutions including the University of Waterloo, University of Alberta, McMaster University and McGill University Library respectively;
• Integrated access to Schiel & Denver's internal project management system, with your own secure username and password, for detailed weekly book production reports, galley and proof approval;

With the sending of your book to our EU, U.S. and Australian printers, your new ISBN book is completed and the post-publishing process begins. The first edition copy is delivered to you, while pallets containing the balance of the print run are delivered securely to both Schiel & Denver and our distributors' warehouses across the UK/EU, U.S., Canada and Australia; to be made available for orders from chain and independent booksellers, wholesalers, libraries, and individual readers. Ordering is also available from Brasil and South Africa; with South Africa's leading bookseller, Exclusive Books, stocking all our titles at their flagship store in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
